It's like a Golden Gun

Has everyone here played Goldeneye?  No?  Go play it, seriously, bust out a N64 and play it... Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were easily two of the best games for the console.  Back on topic, it had a gun called the "golden gun" which was little dinky pistol that one shot anything it touched.  Why is this relevant?  Well I was playing BF2 earlier today and a thought occurred.  "Holy shit, this is a lot like the golden gun!"  What was I referring to?  Well my set-up on recon of course.

Yes, that is a 4x scope on a .50 cal rifle.
Essentially I run around the map with a 4x scope similar to what would be on a normal M16 rifle on a sniper rifle that will one shot anything no matter where I hit you.  I didn't really think how powerful it was going to be until the game ended and I went 29-7, which is not bad in a deathmatch.

I pose a question today, if you play BF2, what class do you play, if you don't, which do you think you'd play, Assault, Recon, Medic or Engineer?

    Goldeneye for N64 is still my fav FPS by far. BF2 is good, but no comparison to Goldeneye when it was new.

    You know man Goldeneye was amazing, I used to spend hours on that game.... One of the best games for the 64. Except for maybe perfect Dark.... That was possibly better.

    I like to play assult, lol, but i usually die in like 1min anyways.

    My K/D usually is 4/1 in shooters, 2/3 on a bad day tho:/

    ah the good ol N64 days when you played multiplayer with your buds all huddled around a dinky old SD television and felt like this was the best of times. Don't play BF2 here but if I did i would probably go engineer I enjoy support in FPSes for some reaosn heh.

    Goldeneye was great! I used to use the special cheats to make the characters have giant heads and paintball spatter whereever you shot. Never played Perfect Dark, but I've heard great things. Following!
